Artwork #2 - 90 x 75 cm

The roots represent the beginning, the origins, the childhood and the time of innocence. The child grows, open his eyes and slowly discovers our complex and vicious world, in which he had to evolve each day. He learns to know himself better, but also the others. He grows, he thinks, he takes a global view, and slowly understands that the "real world" is not what he had imagined.
Shared between consternation, disgust and affliction, the child who became a man, stays attached to his childhood memories, and keep the faith to experience innocence again.
The circles below the artwork, around the roots, are made of vivid colors to better represent the child. Whereas the circles on the top of the artwork represent the adult world, therefor the colors are colder and darker.
